How Do Blogger 2021 Changes Allow Peace of Mind Regarding Contributors?

 Welcoming Contributors to Your Blogger Blog? Relax!

A few years ago a contributor to a private blog I set up wiped out 3 months of work with one click! Since then, I was very reluctant to welcome contributors to post directly to any blogs,preferring to set up a contributor's form, or give them an email address that would allow them to post to the blog.

However, I just discovered  that Blogger now restricts what blog contributors can do when they contribute directly to a blog.

Wondering what Blogger contributors can do?

Here are some of the things Blogger contributors can and can't do. 

 Blogger Contributor Capabilities

When you invite someone to contribute to your blog, they can:

• Write and save or publish posts.
• Edit their posts.
• Control the settings for their videos on the blog.
• Label their posts.
• Delete their posts.
• See all post titles including draft posts.

What Blogger Contributors Cannot Do

Blogger contributors cannot:

• Edit other contributors' posts
• Delete your blog
• Alter your blog Layout, Theme, or other settings

Whew! That's a big relief!
