Blogger Help gives the following advice to help bloggers make their Blogger images searchable, but this advice is a bit outdated, as you will see in the video tutorial.

To make your images searchable and accessible to all readers, you can add a short description, alt text, or title: 

1.  Sign in to Blogger. In the top left, choose a blog. 
2. Add an image to your post and click on it. 
3. Click Edit 
4. Edit. In the text box: In the “alt” section: Add a long description. In the “title” section: Add a short description. 
5. Click Update.
